The Neuroscience behind the course... Science... but fun.

Neuroscience for Sustainable Workforce is based on the NBA – the Neurocognitive and Behavioural Approach. Basically, what the NBA does, is study how the brain works and its impact on human behaviour.

Dr. Jacques Fradin meticulously developed the Neurocognitive and Behavioural Approach (NBA) over a 25-year span at the Institute of Environmental Medicine in France. This groundbreaking and multidisciplinary methodology seamlessly integrates neurosciences, social psychology, behavioral sciences, and beyond, culminating in a comprehensive theory that offers unparalleled insights into the intricacies of human nature.

This course is designed to translate Dr. Jacques Fradin’s work into practical insights and tools for enhancing workforce sustainability. As a Corporate HR practitioner, Dr Tommy understands the complexities of this role – simultaneously beautiful, challenging, and crucial. Having experienced the pressing need for joyful well-being throughout his career, he emphasizes the imperative of addressing our “mental well-being.” This involves scrutinizing societal beliefs about emotions through a thorough moral inventory.

Coursemates will get to examine their individual roles in a system that perpetuates harm and contributes to workplace stigma. In the course, Dr Tommy will elucidate the concept of joyful well-being and share his motivation for introducing it to the workplace and how it can elevate our lives.

COURSE STRUCTURE

This course is comprised of 5 Modules. The course duration is 3-4 hours per module inclusive of assessment.

M1 Foundations of Human Brain (synchronous – 3 hours)

M3 Holistic Health and Wellbeing (Synchronous – 3 hours)

Examine proactive measures, cultivate resilience, and champion well-being through actionable techniques that yield enduring personal and professional benefits. Gain valuable insights into fostering a resilient mindset and discover strategies for sustained well-being, positioning yourself for long-term success in both personal and professional spheres.

M4 Psychology of Wellbeing (Synchronous – 3 Hours)
