NeuroLAT for Homeschool & Home-Based Learners

NeuroLAT is available through a range of flexible learning models to meet the unique needs of every learner, family and organisation. This page showcases our homeschool learners and students on the Home-Based NeuroLAT Cognitive Learning Programme. Designed for children who are learning from home, whether through homeschooling or as a temporary transition from mainstream education, the programme focuses on strengthening foundational cognitive abilities, rebuilding confidence, and supporting more effective learning. Through personalised cognitive development, students are equipped with the essential thinking and learning skills needed to thrive academically and prepare for a confident return to formal education where appropriate.

From Tears to Confidence: Isabella's Learning Journey with NeuroLAT

As a homeschooling parent, I have always been actively involved in Isabella's learning journey. Isabella has dyslexia and struggled significantly with learning. Reading and studying were often accompanied by tears, making learning a stressful and discouraging experience for our family.

What worked best for Isabella was having someone patiently sit alongside her, encourage her, and support her as she completed the NeuroLAT programme. That consistent guidance helped her stay motivated and persevere.

After approximately one year on NeuroLAT, we saw meaningful improvements in both her cognitive development and confidence. We first noticed gradual changes after about three months. Studying was no longer associated with tears and stress, and Isabella became much more confident in her learning.

Academically, Isabella began spelling words with more than three letters, her writing improved, and her reading skills developed significantly.

Seeing these milestones gave us great encouragement that she was progressing in the right direction. The scientific progress reports and report interpretation sessions were incredibly valuable. They clearly highlighted Isabella's cognitive strengths as well as the areas that required further development, giving us practical guidance on how we could better support her learning at home.

As homeschooling parents, we would highly recommend NeuroLAT to families whose children are facing learning, reading, or developmental challenges. If you feel your child is struggling academically or cognitively, this programme provides the structure, guidance, and support needed to help them grow with greater confidence.

Some questions can initially be challenging for children, so gentle guidance through the thinking process helps them understand how to approach similar questions independently in the future.

Youth with Learning Disabilities and Suspected Dysgraphia Improved Academically

Justin comes from a family of 14 children and his Mum (Joanna) home schools all 14 of them.

She noticed that Justin was slower than his siblings in reading and had difficulty recognizing words. He had problems with note taking and was unable to take down full sentences. He could only do so painstakingly word by word. He was also unable to relate events chronologically but would reverse the order of events often. Much to the chagrin of his Mum who is home-schooling him.

Reading was such a challenge for Justin because he takes such a long time to read the words. Even after being able to read the words, he could not understand what he read nor was he able to organize his thoughts. He also experienced difficulty with creative writing, simple calculations & all problem-solving questions. School was always a struggle for Justin and he finished high school late.

Within 3 months of doing the NeuroLAT program, Justin was able to copy full sentences instead of just one word by one word. He was also able to remember longer portions of text and his reading speed dramatically improved after 6 months of consistent training daily.

Joanna observed that Justin now has improved memory, better concentration and can relate events in the right chronological order. She is also very happy to report marked improvement in his spatial, Math and calculation abilities.
