Hope Arrived in Three Weeks

My son, Noah, was diagnosed with ADHD (Impulsive Type) when he was 10 years old. By the age of 12, we decided to enrol him in the NeuroLAT Cognitive Training Programme.

As his mother, I was deeply concerned about his learning. Noah struggled to organise his thoughts and often found it difficult to come up with logical solutions. Subjects such as Mathematics, Science and Composition Writing were especially challenging for him.

One of his greatest struggles was copying from the whiteboard. Whether it was Mathematics, English or Mother Tongue, Noah could only copy one word at a time before looking back at the board again. He was so slow that he often missed his recess because he couldn't finish copying his work. As a result, he frequently fell behind his classmates.

Noah also struggled with critical thinking. Simple problem sums were difficult for him, especially questions involving visual symmetry. He also found concepts such as area, perimeter and volume almost impossible to understand.

We started the NeuroLAT programme with hope, never expecting to see changes so quickly.

Within just three weeks of daily training, I noticed significant improvements in Noah's critical thinking, processing speed and problem-solving abilities. He became much better at organising his thoughts and was finally able to work through questions that required logical reasoning.

I was amazed when Noah solved a symmetry question for the very first time. Before NeuroLAT, he simply could not visualise or reason through these questions. His understanding of area, perimeter and volume also improved steadily.

Another breakthrough was in copying visual text. Instead of remembering only one word at a time, Noah could now retain much longer sequences and write them down accurately. This made a tremendous difference to his learning in school.

Before NeuroLAT, Noah had been rejected from group tuition classes because he couldn't follow what the teacher was explaining. Within just one month of training, he was accepted into a group tuition class. I was overjoyed when his tuition teacher shared that he was coping well in class and was able to understand the concepts being taught. That was a huge leap in both his confidence and his ability to learn.

Looking back, I am deeply grateful we started early intervention with NeuroLAT for Noah.

I urge parents to start early intervention for children with ADHD. NeuroLAT has shown that it has the ability to transform lives by addressing the many challenges my son has.

Based on a True Story (2022]

NeuroLAT is a cognitive development programme designed to strengthen the foundational cognitive processes that underpin learning, including attention, broad spectrum of memory, logical reasoning, visual-auditory processing, visual-spatial processing and processing speed. Suitable for both mainstream neurotypical learners and neurodivergent students, the programme is personalised to each individual’s unique cognitive profile and learning needs.

Every learner’s journey is unique. Whether a child is experiencing learning challenges, preparing for major examinations, seeking to maximise his or her learning potential, or simply requiring stronger cognitive foundations for lifelong success, NeuroLAT provides a personalised pathway to help students learn more effectively, think more confidently and discover abilities they may never have realised they possessed.
